FAQ

Auost is a dedicated au pair platform that connects au pairs with host families. The platform is specifically designed for au pair placements and does not currently offer other types of jobs or employment opportunities.

After registering, you need to activate your account by clicking the verification link sent to the email address you used to sign up. If you don't see the email, check your spam or junk folder. Once your account is activated, you should be able to log in. If you're still having trouble, contact our support team for assistance.

Create an account on the Auost platform and register as an au pair. Please complete your profile with information that allows host families to get to know you, such as details about your background, interests, and preferences. The platform then uses this information to match you with host families whose backgrounds and expectations align with yours.

No. Sharing how you're feeling with your host family can help build trust and prevent misunderstandings. Most families appreciate honesty and want to support their au pair as they settle into their new environment.

Feeling respected, included, and able to be themselves makes the biggest difference. A welcoming environment doesn't replace home, but it can become a place where new memories and meaningful relationships begin.

Cultural exchange is about sharing everyday life. Traditions, food, celebrations, family stories, and personal experiences all help host families and au pairs understand one another beyond childcare responsibilities.

Rather than concentrating on gender, ask questions about childcare experience, communication style, conflict resolution, daily routines, and expectations. A thoughtful interview often reveals far more about compatibility than personal characteristics alone.

There isn't a universally "better" choice. The best au pair is someone whose personality, childcare style, experience, and values align with your family's needs. Gender alone doesn't determine how successful an au pair placement will be.

Absolutely! Each child possesses their own distinct personality, and every au pair comes with a variety of experiences and parenting approaches. It's normal for temporary frustrations or personality conflicts to arise. The essential factors are open communication, setting realistic expectations, and having support from both the host family and the platform when necessary. At Auost Au Pair, we understand that successful placements are not defined by the absence of challenges, but rather by how families and au pairs collaboratively navigate those challenges. Engaging in honest discussions, fostering mutual respect, and sharing responsibilities help cultivate an environment where both children and au pairs can flourish.

This is the only way to communicate with host families via chat and video call, register at the academy, receive advice, use an airport transfer, and much more.
